Anita Barone

Barone appeared in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld that aired in the season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a restaurant owner who needs Elaine Benes' shoes. She appeared in the early 1990s when she was a regular on the cast in the show Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller in her debut Friends episode. She also played the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends to pursue a role that needed longer time. Barone appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995 until 1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 to 2007. Barone co-starred with Daddio in 2000. Barone is also credited on television, including Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was awarded the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award to be recognized for her part in the one of the feature films One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended the series, Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
